Andrew Seel. Managing Director
I'm an online community expert with over 14 years experience in the web industry... in fact, I remember the workplace before the web. I know, it makes you shudder, doesn't it?
I set up Qube with Nigel about 6 years ago and we now work with a crack team of social media specialists and a dog called Luka.
I do what I do because I am fascinated by social media and how it can bring about social change. How is it affecting the way we live and work in the twenty first century? The way social media is and continues to change how businesses communicate with their customers makes life pretty interesting.
I also spend a lot of time wondering what future agencies will look like... Will we even need agencies?
Anyway, more about my expertise: I started my career at South Bank University designing one of their first websites. My community management experience goes back to the early days of the web in 1996 where I managed the development of online communities for AOL as Senior Editor for Travel. I later set up award winning web agency Getfrank and was involved in major community projects such as the Black and Asian History Map for Channel 4.
If you want to discuss your social media strategy - or aren't sure if you even need one - give me a call. Not Luka. She's a dog.
Oh, I'm also co-founder and director ThePet.net, a leading social networking site for pet owners and businesses. And my favourite colour is aubergine, which is curious, because I don't eat them. They're slimy.
