Some companies, such as Nike and Innocent Smoothies, just get social media and know how to use it properly. Ryanair is, unfortunately, not one of these companies.
Here we have a lovely example not only of how to use social media to your disadvantage, but how to fail at PR and shoot yourself in the foot with regards to crisis management as well. Good work Ryanair, perhaps it might be time to develop a new online strategy?
