Fiona Grantham. Strategy Director

My title sounds really grand but really I think my role is pretty straight forward. I spend most of my time thinking about how things work, why things happen and what we could do to make an impact or difference.

I'm fascinated by how brands and businesses can adapt strategically to take advantage of this new space. My experience both on agency and client side helps me understand what challenges we face in helping companies move forward.

I have spent most of my nine working years in this state of thought, working as a planning director in a Brighton based advertising agency, as a market strategy director for UKTV and a planner at Communications agency Rocket.

Social media certainly gets the cogs working and this is why I love working for Qube.

My second love in life is kite surfing. If it's windy, you'll find me in the beautiful English Channel putting my body through hell in my quest to forever learn some new tricks!

Aside from that I spend time writing, mainly poetry and personal journals (i.e blogs!) but I plan to develop this further when I start an Open University course in Creative Writing later this year.

So that's me in a few paragraphs. Fiona's final thought? Colour preference is a state of mind; right now my favourite colour is purple.
