I co-founded Qube with Andrew. I'm a community and content expert with experience working for leading brands and organisations including Learning and Skills Council, Channel 4 and Electronic Arts.

I specialise in using online communities to solve real business problems. I'm skilled at understanding what makes communities tick. I help organisations develop and deliver strategies to build long-lasting relationships with their customers.

What else should you know? In the past, I was a freelance writer and web editor. Before that, I was an IT consultant, but I was young and foolish then. I was as suited to it as goats are to needlecraft and Ninjitsu.

I am a frustrated novelist*, halfway through a book I've been writing for too long to mention. Here's a sneak preview:

"We can only identify 4% of the universe. That's it - just 4%. This covers all the matter we know of: humans, beetles, dogs, dirt, wood, plastic, the Earth, the planets, the Sun, the solar system, the galaxies, comets, meteors, space dust, pot noodles, everything.

What about the other 96%? Well, 23% is dark matter - classified as 'nature unknown'. We can't even prove it's real - it just has to be real in order to make everything else make sense - not the sturdiest platform to build reality on, if you ask me. But then nobody is asking me. Why would they, I'll be dead any second. But it's weird how long a second or two can stretch out inside your own mind."
