Introduction

Who we are and why we are facilitating this social media workshop.

Session 1: objective setting

This day is about you and your needs. We will spend some time exploring the common goals and issues of the people in the group. We will develop your specific objectives, which we will use to build on for the day.

Session 2: what if?

This is where the fun bit starts - creative, blue sky thinking with no restrictions. Here we come up solutions and ideas to 'solve' common problems and issues members of your group have. This is done via a series of 'what if' scenarios to prompt, stimulate and steer the group towards the nub of the issues and to develop simple solutions.

At this stage, we do not limit thinking to 'social media' or online solutions - simply ideal solutions to problems and business pains you are experiencing.

Session 3: make it so

So now we have all these great ideas, how can they be realised in a cost effective manner? Here we look at how other people have taken simple ideas and turned them into gold dust.

We give a whistle stop tour of some the brightest, best and most innovative solutions the web has to offer.

All are real case studies, some big brands, some small, some public, some private - whatever fits with the scenarios we've identified earlier in the day.

The one thing they all have in common is that they were developed in response to a need, were beautifully executed and are successful. This is the light-bulb moment.

Session 4: and finally

Quick round up and next action commitment. Then everyone leaves feeling inspired and looking forward to being part of the team that brings your online social strategy to life.

Your final deliverable is a feedback report, detailing what we - and more importantly you - learnt on the day.
